Are you in the moment during your conversation or are you thinking about what you are going to say next and only listening with one ear.
Becoming a master or conversation will allow you to build wealth through your business. Let’s begin with the first question- Do you approach conversations with prospects, using a script and trying to coax others into seeing what you are offering is good for them? If so, sit back in your chair and listen to hear the emotion they are feeling and then connect with them to give them exactly what they need? If you are more intent on helping them achieve what they desire and learn to listen to hear that desire, you will be more successful and so will you prospects.
One way to constantly improve on your conversation skills is to follow a continuity program that is designed to have you progress through basic script training to including asking questions throughout the script and ultimately into free flowing conversations that allow you to move through three important elements on each call; introduction, connecting and finding their need and conclusion. When you are really good at this, the prospect will actually tell you what they want to do as their next step.
